The shelter offers a variety of cats suited to different homes, each with its own unique background and personality. The intake and medical teams are responsible for surgeries and recovery for the animals in their care.
As part of their initiatives, Manatee County Animal Welfare has launched a “Cat Town” campaign where residents can submit their cats to run for the title of “Mayor of Cat Town.” Early voting is currently underway and will continue until November 4.

Submissions should include the pet’s name, age, gender, personality traits, and any other relevant details.
