
Local charitable organizations, including The Salvation Army and the Cleveland Animal Protection League, are set to host a pet vaccination and microchip event for residents of Cleveland and East Cleveland. Scheduled for Saturday, September 26, the event aims to provide vaccinations to approximately 100 dogs and cats.

To qualify for the vaccinations or microchipping services, pets must be between six weeks and six years old. The Cleveland Animal Protection League will collaborate with Cleveland Animal Care and Control to offer microchip services for both cats and dogs.
The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. at The Salvation Army Cleveland Temple, located at 17625 Grovewood Avenue in Collinwood. Participation is limited to residents of Cleveland and East Cleveland.
