This announcement coincides with the global pet care economy surpassing $270 billion annually, projected to approach $500 billion by 2034 due to increased veterinary spending, longer pet lifespans, and the humanization of pets.
Despite this growth potential, early-stage pet health founders face challenges such as fragmented infrastructure, regulatory complexities, and limited access to capital and distribution. Pawsible is designed to address these challenges.
As both an incubator and venture studio, Pawsible Ventures assists founders in moving from concept to scalable business through capital, mentorship, veterinary expertise, and commercialization support. Unlike traditional accelerators, it collaborates closely with founders to validate market demand, develop products, navigate regulations, and expedite market entry.
Launched in 2025 with a $10 million Fund I, Pawsible focuses on several key segments within the pet health ecosystem, including:
- Veterinary diagnostics
- Pet health technologies
- Digital veterinary care platforms
- Therapeutics and biologics
- Insurance and financial services for pet owners
- Preventive wellness solutions
Alex Chieng, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pawsible Ventures, noted that after engaging with over 300 founders, it became clear that pet health is a rapidly growing sector. However, many early-stage founders lack the specialized support necessary to transition from concept to company.
In the past year, Pawsible has interacted with more than 300 startups globally, identifying a rising number of innovators in areas such as veterinary diagnostics, AI-powered tools, preventive care, therapeutics, and digital solutions for veterinary practices. The first cohort will comprise five to seven companies, each selected for structured programming, mentorship, and access to veterinary professionals and investors.
To bolster its efforts, Pawsible has assembled a global Board of Advisors featuring expertise in veterinary medicine, entrepreneurship, and healthcare innovation. Advisors will engage in sessions, office hours, and strategic discussions throughout the program.
This board includes:
- Joseph Coury, founder and CFO at Urban Animal, focused on veterinary innovation and finance.
- Dr. William Thomas, founder of Animal Doctors International, experienced in raising capital for international veterinary operations.
- Dr. Adam Little, former Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Texas A&M, co-founder of the GoFetch pet-care platform.
- Kimball Carr, an entrepreneur with leadership roles at Banfield Pet Hospital and Inspire Veterinary Partners.
- Dr. Christina V. Tran, an educator and academic leader in veterinary practice.
- Dr. Andrew Findlaytor, a veterinary technology leader at The Farmer’s Dog and co-founder of Vetsie.
Supported by Victory Square Technologies (CSE: VST), a publicly traded venture builder, Pawsible Ventures benefits from expertise in launching and scaling companies within digital health and emerging healthcare infrastructures. Shafin Diamond Tejani, Founder and CEO of Victory Square Technologies, emphasized that category-specific venture platforms will drive future value in the market.
Applications for the first cohort, set to launch in March 2026, are now open for founders focused on pet health, veterinary medicine, diagnostics, therapeutics, or digital veterinary care. Selected participants will receive structured programming, veterinary mentorship, investor introductions, and regulatory support.
Pawsible Ventures is focused on building the future of animal health and wellness companies by integrating capital, incubation services, and essential industry support to expedite the development of meaningful innovations.
