Zoo Knoxville Partners with Young Williams Animal Shelter for Cat Adoptions at Boo! at the Zoo

Zoo Knoxville has announced a partnership with Young Williams Animal Shelter to feature adoptable cats at its annual Boo! at the Zoo event this October. This marks the 40th year of the beloved event, which will now include opportunities for attendees to adopt cats in need of homes.

The event will take place from October 3 to October 30, running each evening from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. Interested adopters can visit the Black Cat Exhibit at Pilot Flying J Wee Play Adventure to meet the cats available for adoption, which will be on display Thursday through Sunday.

While the zoo emphasizes that not all cats will be black, it encourages potential pet owners to come out as each cat is seeking a loving home. Those interested in adopting are invited to fill out an adoption interest form and proceed with the adoption through Young Williams Animal Shelter.
