Cincinnati Animal CARE Rescues Kittens Abandoned in Cemetery Suitcase

Tiny kittens discovered abandoned in a suitcase at a cemetery are now safe, thanks to Cincinnati Animal CARE. The kittens were found by a dog walker on the morning of July 21, 2026, who noticed the suitcase covered with a heavy blanket.

Cincinnati Animal CARE reported that the kittens are approximately four weeks old and too young to have been separated from their mother. The shelter indicated that the kittens appear to be healthy. Following their rescue, the kittens will be vaccinated before being made available for adoption.
