Tigger is a 3.5-month-old kitten, rescued alongside her siblings from a feral mother. After socialization in foster care, their mother was spayed and returned to her outdoor habitat. Furer stated, "Tigger is available now. If you already have a kitten or a young playful cat, or you're looking to adopt two kittens, she'd be a great fit." Tigger displayed a calm demeanor during her television appearance, comfortably settling in Kurt Ludlow's arms.

Montieth, nicknamed "Monty," was found in the Columbus area after suffering a leg injury. He had been living outdoors and was regularly fed by a local resident who decided to help him find a safer life. After recovering at Colony Cats & Dogs, Monty has been waiting for a family for over a month at the Petco Graceland adoption center. Furer described him as "literally the perfect kitty," noting his affectionate nature and love for companionship.

As Colony Cats & Dogs focuses on finding homes for cats like Tigger and Monty, the organization also seeks community support with the kitten season approaching. Currently, there are around 150 kittens in foster care, and that number is expected to grow over the summer. Last year, the organization cared for hundreds of kittens at peak season.

Furer emphasized that foster families, volunteers, and caregivers are essential for the rescue's efforts. Volunteers can assist with fostering kittens or adult cats, cleaning cages, and providing daily care. Interested individuals can visit Colony Cats & Dogs’ booth at this year’s ComFest for more information about fostering, volunteering, and adoption.

For those looking to adopt Tigger, Monty, or another cat in the care of Colony Cats & Dogs, further details and adoption applications are available online. This Fur Baby Friday serves as a reminder of the many cats in need of loving homes, and Tigger and Monty are hopeful that a family in Central Ohio will provide them with a second chance.
