EUGENE, Ore. - This weekend, more than 170 cats and kittens will be available for adoption during a special event hosted by three local animal rescues: Feline Good Animal Rescue, Twitchy Tails, and the Community Cat Advocacy Team.

Organizers believe that combining resources will offer potential adopters a broader selection of cats than they would typically encounter at a standard adoption event. Tara Nagelhout from Feline Good Animal Rescue noted, "We did this last year, and it went really well. We all have regular places we do adoption events on a schedule, and we thought, 'What if we did something completely out of the norm...not at any of our home bases? And what if we did it all together?'"
Nagelhout encouraged the public to attend and interact with the cats, adding, "We would just love to have people come out, visit with the cats and maybe learn some more about what we do."
The adoption event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nill Family Scout Center, located across from Autzen Stadium in Eugene. For further information, individuals can visit Feline Good Animal Rescue's website.
