The Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA) has elected Lacie Lee, DVM, as president-elect for the 2026–2027 term. Lee, owner and founder of the Cat Care Center of Baton Rouge, specializes in feline medicine and has over 23 years of experience. She holds a degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and has served on the FelineVMA Board of Directors, chairing the Student Engagement Committee and participating in the Guidelines Committee. The Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon has welcomed Elizabeth Passmore, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), to its team. Passmore completed her veterinary education at the University of California, Davis, and has extensive training, including an internship at the University of Illinois and a neurology residency in New Mexico. She previously established the Neurology & Neurosurgery Service at Pet Specialists of Austin. Mauricio Dujowich, DVM, DACVIM, CEO of VRCCO, stated that Passmore's addition will enhance their capacity for advanced neurosurgeries and emergency consultations.

With more than 20 years in the animal health industry, Holt has held various leadership roles, including at Merial and Boehringer Ingelheim, where she received multiple awards for innovation and excellence in 2025 and 2026. In her new role, she will focus on commercial strategy and growth initiatives for Parnell's US pet care division.
