Sully Named Dog of the Week by Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control

Sully, the Dog of the Week from Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control, is eager to enjoy the outdoors this fall. After spending over a month in a kennel, he is looking for a foster or adoptive home.

This energetic one-year-old Lab mix is noted for his playful nature. Although he needs some leash training, Sully is responsive and sits nicely for treats, making him a fantastic companion for long walks.

The Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center has many dogs in need of homes. Interested individuals can visit the shelter located at 2100 Shale St., Springfield, IL, during operating hours: Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 4:15 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
