Christ Church to Host Pet Blessing and Adoption Event on October 4

Christ Episcopal Church in Pelham is organizing a Pet Blessing and Adoption Event on Sunday, October 4, from 12 PM to 3 PM, to commemorate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

Pet owners are invited to bring their pets for a blessing by members of the clergy. The event will also provide an opportunity to adopt dogs and cats in need of homes.

Staff from the Humane Society of Westchester will be present to facilitate pet adoptions and assist prospective families in selecting their new companions.
