Attendees can interact with the animals, learn about the adoption process, and complete the necessary paperwork on-site if they find a suitable match. The event will also feature pet licensing information, outreach booths, and a photo booth for capturing moments with the cats.

In addition to adopting pets, guests will have the chance to vote for the “Kitty Council Purr-sident,” where adult cats will compete for the title. Ashley Harrington, Executive Director of the Seattle Animal Shelter, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "Many of the kittens at this event have not yet known what it feels like to have a permanent home, a person, or a family." She expressed excitement for the joy that awaits both the kittens and their future adopters.

All cats and kittens at the event will be available for adoption, allowing families to take their new pet home once the paperwork is completed. This initiative is part of the Seattle Animal Shelter’s efforts to connect more pets with families throughout the city.
