The Humane Society of Scott County is offering free adoption for adult dogs over 30 pounds and adult cats until September 30. This initiative is announced on their Facebook page. Adoptions are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The shelter is located at 2802 W.
