Organizers emphasized that each basket has been thoughtfully designed to raise essential funds for the humane society, stating, "Every single basket has been carefully thought out, planned, and created with a purpose — to make this auction something special while raising much-needed funds for the animals at the Humane Society of Marshall County. This auction isn’t just about winning a basket. It’s about winning a better future for an animal."
The funds raised will aid in services such as spaying and neutering, vaccinating, and microchipping animals. Themes for the baskets range from Halloween treats to date night items to Dolly Parton collectibles. Bidding will close at 4 p.m. on October 13.
