On August 31, 2026, Chillife announced a recall of its 5-in-1 Montessori Baby Toy Sets sold on Amazon. The recall was prompted by a choking hazard associated with the pull string teether toy. The affected sets were purchased between July 2023 and April 2026. Consumers are advised to stop using the potentially hazardous toy immediately. To obtain a refund, customers should cut off the silicone strings, label the toy as "DESTROYED," and email a photo to [email protected] before disposing of the toy.
Cuisinart has also expanded its recall of metal wire bristle grill brushes, now encompassing 3.6 million units sold from June 2009 to March 2026. The recall is due to the risk of bristles detaching and contaminating food, posing a severe internal injury risk if consumed. Consumers should cease using the brushes and contact Conair, Cuisinart’s parent company, for a full refund.
Additionally, Northwest Naturals has recalled two types of frozen pet food—Frozen Chicken Recipe (2-pound bags, best by January 26, 2028) and Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs Recipe (6-pound bags, best by January 25, 2028)—due to potential Salmonella and Listeria contamination. These products were distributed nationwide. Although no illnesses have been reported so far, pet owners are urged to stop feeding these items to their pets and return them for a full refund.
