Participants enjoyed various activities, including games, food, and prizes while gaining valuable information. This event was organized shortly after the shelter welcomed 35 cats, which were seized following the arrest of Karen Anderson in Flemington.
MCHS emphasized the importance of spaying and neutering pets to curb unwanted litters. Abby Hohn, the Cat Team Leader at MCHS, stated, "Make responsible decisions, get your pets spayed and neutered, and then that makes our jobs easier." Hohn acknowledged the community's strong support after the recent influx of cats, highlighting the willingness of people to assist when called upon.
