Each field will be enclosed to prevent dogs from escaping and to minimize interaction with dogs in adjacent fields, ensuring a safe environment while limiting disturbances to nearby homes and the countryside.
Access to the facility will be managed through an online booking system, giving visitors an access code before their visit. To minimize noise and overlap, sessions will be staggered.
The design includes two car parks, improved access from Reepham Road, timber shelters, seating, and various dog agility features like tunnels, logs, and grass mounds. Additionally, picnic benches will be provided to allow owners a comfortable space to relax while their dogs exercise. Amenities such as bins, dog waste disposal facilities, and water sources are also planned.
The proposed opening hours will vary by season, with operations planned from 6 AM to 8 PM in summer and 8 AM to 4 PM in winter.
