Dr. Quinton Waits Joins Fayette Veterinary Hospital as Veterinarian

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Dr. Quinton Waits has joined the veterinary team at Fayette Veterinary Hospital, returning to his hometown to work alongside his father, Dr. Daryl Waits Jr.

A 2018 graduate of Miami Trace High School, Waits earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University in 2022. During his undergraduate years, he was a member of the Cyclone Varsity Marching Band, playing the sousaphone for four years.

He obtained his veterinary degree from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2026, specializing in a mixed-animal track that prepares him to care for both pets and livestock.

This is a return to Fayette Veterinary Hospital for Waits, who previously worked there as a high school student. In his new position, he will provide medical care for pets at the clinic as well as travel to local farms to offer large-animal veterinary services.
