In celebration of National Senior Pet Month and following recent Global Adoption events by Mars, the parent company of Banfield, the initiative aims to highlight adoptable senior dogs and cats across the U.S. Efron expressed his sentiment regarding his own rescue dog, Booey, saying, "I’m thrilled to partner with Banfield to show just how much older pets have to offer and to help more of them find families."
To assist six selected shelter pets, Banfield will cover their adoption fees and provide a complimentary Senior Care Optimum Wellness Plan. This plan includes a year of preventive care and access to emergency consults at BluePearl Pet Hospital. Additionally, Royal Canin will contribute six months' worth of specially formulated diets for the senior pets at the time of adoption, tailored to their nutritional needs.
