CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - On Tuesday night, firefighters in Campbellsville rescued a cat during a house fire on the 700 block of North Hoskins Avenue. The Campbellsville Fire Department arrived at the scene around 11:40 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames engulfing the home.

All residents had safely exited the building, but the family’s cat was missing. Firefighters successfully located and rescued the feline from the fire. The flames were subsequently extinguished without any injuries reported.
An investigation revealed that the fire was caused by an electrical issue in a bedroom.
