Pha Lo, the founder of Tycoolz, emphasized the company’s mission is rooted in a love for dogs and the desire to offer them nutritious and wholesome food. Lo expressed gratitude towards the Los Alamos Co-op for the partnership and thanked the Small Business Development Center for aiding in reaching local dog owners. The inspiration for Tycoolz came from her dog, Ty, whose illness prompted her family to reconsider their pets' diets. Although Ty's story had a bittersweet ending, it led to the foundation of Tycoolz, reflecting their belief that every moment with a dog should be cherished.
Tycoolz is set to participate in the Los Alamos Single Track bike event on Saturday, September 19, where pet owners can bring their dogs to a tasting tent to sample various treats. The company aims to create a sense of community through local events and partnerships, while also planning to expand into markets in Denver, Phoenix, and Chicago.
