Founded in August 2022 by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, TailBlaze Longevity focuses on canine nutrition and aims to extend dogs' lives by three to five years through specially formulated high-protein, lower-carbohydrate diets. HeartPour has been under development for four years, blending high protein and superfoods with an Ayurvedic mixture that includes curcumin, black pepper, parsley, amla, and tulsi.

The company plans to introduce HeartPour by offering the first 500 dogs a free serving, allowing pet parents to experience the benefits of the product prior to its full launch.

In addition to HeartPour, TailBlaze Longevity has developed FreshTail, a proprietary technology for producing shelf-stable fresh meals for pets. Its product lineup includes over 200 items, such as organic dog food, natural treats, and grooming accessories, featuring ingredients like coconut, hemp, and fish.

TailBlaze employs a WhatsApp-first commerce model and also utilizes quick-commerce and online platforms like Blinkit and BBNow for sales.

The recent funding will allow the startup to enhance its team and strengthen its position in India's growing pet care market. This funding round aligns with a rising trend in investment within the pet nutrition sector, with similar startups also attracting attention. For instance, Right4Paws raised ₹14 crore in Series A funding for its science-based nutrition, while Benny’s Bowl secured $1.4 million for developing functional pet foods.

With the influx of capital, TailBlaze Longevity is well-positioned to launch HeartPour and expand its nutrition-focused offerings as competition intensifies in the Indian pet care market.
