While recent adoption events and community support have alleviated some pressure, the shelter still faces significant challenges. Staff are looking for adopters, foster families, volunteers, and donations, particularly blankets and towels, to help care for the animals and minimize the need for rehoming pets.
Additionally, the shelter is requesting donations of unused kennels from previous fosters or anyone who no longer needs them to create more space for the dogs in their care.
Animal Services also urges community members to report any missing pets to the shelter, which is working to reunite lost animals with their owners.
