Genny Brown, the executive director of the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, highlighted the event's focus on providing information on low-cost resources, volunteering, and fostering. "It's really promoting our shelters and our rescues but also having a lot of fun doing it," Brown stated.

The Midwest Meow Fest was presented by The Cat Lady Café and the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, successfully combining advocacy for cat welfare with entertainment.
