Humane Fort Wayne Hosts Adoption Event at Subaru

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - On Saturday, community members had the chance to adopt cats and dogs at Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne. Subaru collaborated with Humane Fort Wayne to facilitate the adoption of 23 animals.

Humane Fort Wayne has partnered with Subaru for over 15 years to help animals find homes. Executive Director Jessica Henry-Johnson expressed her joy in witnessing adoptions, stating, “I don’t think there’s a better feeling in the world for me than to watch an animal get adopted.” She added that seeing families, especially children, choose their new pets is a touching experience for the shelter staff who care deeply for the animals.

The event continues to highlight the ongoing commitment to animal welfare in the community.
