Rooted Owl Appoints Dr. Barbara Royal as Senior Veterinary Advisor and Head of Nutrition

In her newly established leadership role, Dr. Royal will oversee product formulation, clinical study design, and education for veterinary professionals. She will also collaborate on new product development and engage with potential retail and clinical partners.

Dr. Royal serves as the owner and CEO of Animal Diet Formulator and the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. With over two decades of experience in integrative veterinary care, she specializes in nutrition and evidence-based practices for companion animal health.

Dr. Royal will play a crucial role in the company’s upcoming product expansion, which includes a 12-SKU feline portfolio targeting health issues such as cardio and kidney support. This new line will broaden the existing offerings that currently focus on supplements for both dogs and cats, applying the company's clinical and formulation strategies to meet additional feline health needs.
