FOMAS will continue its partnership with Mobile Animal Services, which is scheduled to move into a new facility in May 2027. The Cat Lifesaving & Adoption Center intends to expand cat adoption services, providing a dedicated space for these efforts. Plans include increasing community spay and neuter assistance for both cats and dogs, enhancing FOMAS's transport network for animals requiring placement outside of Mobile, and creating additional opportunities for cat adoptions.

A FOMAS news release indicated that this new facility will greatly enhance local animal welfare resources and support the existing services of Mobile Animal Services. Community members interested in supporting the project can contribute through the FOMAS Kitty City campaign.
