Bowling Green, Ky. – The Bissell Pet Foundation is reviving its national Empty the Shelters event, collaborating with 269 shelters across the nation to facilitate pet adoptions at reduced fees.

From September 18 to September 30, adoption fees will be lowered to $70 or less in an effort to address overcrowded shelters. The Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society is one of the partners in this initiative and will provide a special adoption offer during the event.
