JACKSBORO, TN – The Campbell County Animal Shelter is offering a special adoption promotion called "Adopt for Dolly" throughout October. From October 1 to October 31, adoption fees for participating adult dogs and adult cats will be reduced to $9.25. This fee is a nod to Dolly Parton’s famous song and movie, emphasizing the shelter's aim to help pets find loving homes.

This program specifically applies to selected adult dogs and cats; puppies and kittens are not included. Standard adoption procedures remain in effect, including application screening and landlord verification, as needed. It is important to note that the shelter does not hold or accept deposits for animals, and submitting an application does not guarantee adoption.
The reduced fee aims to provide more families the chance to adopt the adult animals currently in the shelter, enhancing their chances of finding homes. Interested adopters are encouraged to visit the adoption center at 749 Towe String Road in Jacksboro, open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5:30 PM. For more information, call 423-566-8018.
Potential adopters can also view all available pets on Petfinder and submit adoption applications online.
