To adopt a pet, attendees must bring an ID and answer questions regarding pet policies in their residences and compatibility with any existing pets.
In addition to pet adoptions, the event will feature free Halloween-themed pet photos. Pet owners can bring their dogs, cats, or other animals dressed in costumes to be photographed. Halloween photos will be taken at Petco North on the day of the event, and they will also be available at both locations during the following two weekends.
The organizations are actively seeking volunteers and donations. Interested volunteers, including seniors looking for activities, can reach out to BFFL or LAPS for more information. BFFL has highlighted the need for special food for a senior kitten with specific dietary requirements and is asking the community for assistance. Support can be coordinated through either Petco location.
