The dog was friendly and appeared to be accustomed to family life, showing affection towards Alexandra and Rollins' children. Their six-year-old son, Reese, instantly bonded with the dog and became visibly upset upon learning that it had been abandoned.
Moved by Reese's reaction, the family shared a photo of the dog on a Facebook page dedicated to lost pets. A local resident responded, informing them that the dog had been neglected by its previous owner. Unable to leave the dog behind, Alexandra and Rollins chose to adopt him, naming him Clark.
After just a week and a half, Clark has adapted well to his new home, enjoying playtime with the family's other dog, Bunny, and loving the attention from his new family. Reese is delighted to have a new best friend in Clark.
