Currently, the organization has approximately 50 dogs available for adoption, according to Ian Ouzts, Content Marketing Coordinator. He emphasized the importance of same-day adoptions, stating, "The best shelter is a home."
On the program "Live in the D," Ouzts introduced a 4-year-old pit bull mix named Clancy, who is available for adoption. The Mike Morse Law Firm is covering the standard adoption fees for the featured pet of the week, Clancy.
The adoption process at Michigan Humane is straightforward. Potential adopters must bring a valid photo ID, be at least 18 years old, and some dogs may require meetings with other resident dogs or children in the home. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Michigan Humane website for more information on specific dogs and their requirements.
