- Northwest Naturals Frozen Chicken Recipe in 2-pound bags intended for cats and as a protein topper for dogs. Affected lot: B-5, Best By January 26, 2028.

- Northwest Naturals Frozen Raw Diet for Dogs Chicken Recipe in 6-pound bags. Affected lot: B-19, Best By January 25, 2028.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) detected Salmonella in the frozen chicken recipe and both Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes in the raw dog food. There have been no reported illnesses related to these products.

Symptoms for pets that ingest contaminated food may include diarrhea, vomiting, fever, decreased appetite, or lethargy. Humans exposed to these bacteria could experience nausea, diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps.

Consumers who have purchased the affected products are advised to stop feeding them to their pets and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
