During this year’s campaign, NBC and Telemundo stations are collaborating with shelters nationwide, allowing donations to be made directly to shelters or to a general fund. More details on participating shelters can be found at ClearTheSheltersFund.org, and shelters interested in joining the campaign can register via the Shelter Registration Portal.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition returns for the ninth consecutive year as a campaign partner and, for the first time, as the presenting sponsor. This partnership includes providing adoption kits at select participating shelters, which will contain starter bags of Hill’s Science Diet, coupons, and other supplies.

Fundraising will be managed by Greater Good Charities, allowing donations to the general fund now through September 15 and encouraging individual contributions to shelters from August 1 to 31.

WeRescue will serve as the exclusive technology partner for the eighth consecutive year, enabling users to browse adoptable pets through their website and apps based on various criteria and directly contact shelters.

In a second-year partnership, The Black Dog will allow customers to round up their purchases to donate to the Clear the Shelters fund, create special merchandise to benefit the campaign, and host adoption events at their locations.

NBC and Telemundo-owned stations will premiere television specials on August 7. The NBC special will feature celebrity guests, including Matt Damon, while Telemundo will release its special, Desocupar los Albergues, on the same date.
