El Paso Museum of Archaeology to Host Días de los Doggies Adoption Event

The El Paso Museum of Archaeology will collaborate with El Paso Animal Services for a free Días de los Doggies adoption event on Friday, October 9. This event will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. at the museum located at 4301 Transmountain Road.

During the event, Animal Services will have its mobile adoption van on site, offering free dog adoptions. Additionally, the first 50 attendees will be eligible for free pet microchips.

Museum staff will provide hands-on activities for families and their pets, including a “paws-on” experience related to the museum’s Trails and the Steps of Mictlan exhibition. This event is part of the museum’s month-long programming for Día de los Doggies, which has expanded from a single day to a drop-in program.
