A serious motorcycle accident in Forest Hills on Tuesday injured three individuals, one of whom is in critical condition. According to Allegheny County Police, dispatch received a call around 8:40 p.m. regarding a collision between a motorcycle and a Nissan sedan at the intersection of Ardmore Boulevard and Fillmore Road.

First responders found an adult male motorcyclist critically injured and transported him to a nearby hospital. The driver and passenger of the sedan were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Preliminary investigations suggest the motorcycle was traveling west on Ardmore Boulevard when it struck the Nissan, which was making a left turn onto Fillmore Road. Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
In another incident, a Connellsville family reported being the victims of a puppy-adoption scam while seeking a French bulldog as a support animal for their disabled daughter. Morgan Ritenour, who suffered severe seizures in June, had asked her father for funds to purchase the dog advertised on social media for $200. After receiving photos that appeared to show the dog being delivered from Johnstown, communication ceased when the seller began citing travel issues and ultimately blocked Ritenour.
Further investigation revealed that the seller offered the same dog to Ritenour's father under a different name for $350, raising multiple red flags, including the absence of phone calls and suspiciously sourced photographs. The family plans to file a police report regarding the incident.
Meanwhile, Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a $1,000 impersonation scam involving Steelers rookie Eli Heidenreich. Two women from Avella reported being misled by someone posing as the player during financial transactions that occurred between July and August in Independence Township, Washington County. The case is classified as theft by deception and impersonation, with no suspects identified at this time.
In Westmoreland County, the Jeannette Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for 41-year-old Joseph Raymond Good Jr. He is wanted on charges that include flight to avoid apprehension, evading arrest, and resisting law enforcement. The warrant lists a location on South Fifth Street in Jeannette, and police are requesting anyone with information regarding Good’s whereabouts to contact them.
