A key highlight of the luncheon will be the official launch of the Veterinary Technician Membership Program. In collaboration with Synergy Surgical Supply, the CVMA will also award scholarships to eligible veterinary technicians.

The CVMA is one of the largest regional veterinary medical associations in the U.S., representing over 1,000 veterinarians and approximately 4,000 veterinary support professionals. In a statement, CVMA leadership emphasized the importance of honoring the organization’s founding members while committing to future developments aimed at enhancing veterinary medicine. They stated, “Recognizing those who had the foresight to establish and build this organization since 1896, we pay tribute to that rich legacy by developing programs that remain vital for today and tomorrow. On this landmark anniversary, we honour our history by moving forward together into the future of veterinary medicine.”
