One Love Animal Rescue is partnering with Chatham Subaru to provide free veterinary services aimed at helping local animals find permanent homes. The events, scheduled for October under the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, are funded by a grant from Chatham Subaru administered by the ASPCA.

The first event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, at Daffin Park, with participants entering near Washington Avenue and Waters Avenue. Free vaccinations and microchipping will be available for up to two pets per household, although no appointments are necessary. Supplies will be limited, and the following vaccines will be offered:
- Rabies vaccines for dogs and cats
- DHPP vaccines for dogs
- FVRCP vaccines for cats
All dogs must be on leashes, and cats need to be transported in separate carriers. A limited number of leashes and carriers will be provided for those in need. Additionally, pet food will be distributed and vouchers for low-cost spay and neuter services will be available.
This clinic is part of One Love Animal Rescue’s Operation Pet Solutions program, which supports pet owners in retaining their pets instead of surrendering them. CEO and co-founder Karrie Bulski emphasized the importance of assisting pet parents who require additional support to keep their pets at home.
The second event is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from noon to 2 p.m. at Chatham Subaru, located at 100 Kita Ave. in Pooler. This event will feature dogs and cats available for adoption, allowing potential families a chance to meet the animals.
