Doug McQuaid, a volunteer at the center, described her as very active. "Mona Lisa is a very active dog. We found out she’d need to be taken for walks a couple of times a day,” he said. He highlighted her friendly nature, love for affection, and her enjoyment of playing with balls. McQuaid noted that having an open area or a fenced yard would be ideal for her playful activities.
In addition to dog adoptions, the K-9 Adoption Center aims to assist pet owners in reuniting with lost dogs. McQuaid emphasized the importance of calling or visiting the center if a pet goes missing, stating, "We’re very full here at the adoption center. We’d always like to make sure that every dog gets reclaimed." He underlined that every dog comes from a home and that it’s crucial for them to return to their families.
