
Waukesha — The Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha County will bring adoptable pets to Wilde Subaru on Saturday, partnering with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The event will take place at Wilde Subaru, located at 1560 E. Moreland Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The HAWS Mobile Adoption team will present a selection of animals available for adoption, including dogs such as Lady, Roskoh, Ruby, Ford, Snuggles, and Rory, as well as cats and kittens Whiskers, Samuel, Macho, and Bug. Last year, approximately 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues in search of homes, according to the ASPCA. Subaru is supporting HAWS through funding provided by a grant from the ASPCA as part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, which aims to cover essential adoption preparation costs, including veterinary expenses.
HAWS is located at 701 Northview Road in Waukesha.
