FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is offering $3 cat and kitten adoptions until Wednesday, September 16. This promotion, dubbed “feline draft,” coincides with the football season and encourages families to select their “most valuable feline.”

The $3 adoption fee applies with an approved application. All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated according to their age, and microchipped.
Available cats and kittens can be found at the shelter located at 3020 Hillegas Road and at 11 offsite adoption locations. Families are encouraged to visit the Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control website for information on available animals, locations, and business hours prior to visiting. Please note that the shelter is closed for adoptions on Mondays, although offsite adoption applications will still be processed.
Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is an open-access shelter and does not turn away animals from Allen County.
