PASCO, Wash. – Tri-Cities Animal Services (TCAS) is partnering with local firefighters for an adoption event aimed at finding homes for pets. The Felines and Firefighters adoption event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, at the TCAS shelter located at 1311 South 18th Avenue in Pasco.

The event is free to attend and will feature adoptable cats, kittens, and dogs. Attendees will have the chance to meet local firefighters and learn about TCAS's initiatives in the community.
On-site adoptions will be available, with fees set at $50 per pet. All animals at the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. TCAS staff encourage individuals who are not ready to adopt to consider volunteer and foster opportunities, which provide much-needed care and attention to shelter pets while they await permanent homes.
