St. Mary's Student Council to Host Pet Adoption Event on October 4

St. Mary's Student Council is partnering with the Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter for a pet adoption event on Sunday, October 4. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 1331 East Hunter Robbins Way in Greensburg.

Attendees can adopt pets on the same day and are encouraged to bring donations for the shelter, including cat litter, canned cat and kitten food, as well as dog and cat toys. Each donation or adoption will earn participants a gift certificate for a food truck that will be present at the event. Additionally, a priest from St. Mary's will hold a Pet Blessing at 1 p.m.
