Wisconsin Humane Society Launches Adoption Promotions for Cats and Kittens

Corey Viars, a media specialist at the Wisconsin Humane Society, noted that both the Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay campuses are actively seeking homes for many animals.

Viars stated, "As we're coming out of summer, we have a large population of cats and kittens and we want to find them homes. Right now we have some great promotions for our adoptable cats and kittens."

One offer includes Kitten Buddy Pricing, which provides a 50% discount on the second adoption fee when two kittens are adopted together. Additionally, adopters of adult cats aged 1 and older can choose their own adoption fee and will receive a 50% off coupon for the Animal Antics store.

These promotions aim to assist shelters in managing larger animal populations that often increase during the summer months.

For those who may not be ready for a permanent commitment, fostering is another option. "You can also become one of our foster parents," said Viars. "We take care of everything needed for the pet and all you have to do is provide a loving home for that kitten."

Foster homes play a critical role by offering a temporary, welcoming environment for animals awaiting adoption, thereby creating space in shelters for more animals in need.
