Sherry Crolly, the developmental director at Griffin Pond, discussed the ongoing challenge of finding adopters. She noted that potential adopters need to be prepared for the acclimation process that these barn cats require. To encourage adoption, the shelter has waived fees for barn cats and is offering guidance on how to help them adjust in their new environments, which may include barns, nurseries, or garages.
