The Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) removed a wild cat from a fenced backyard in Marrero, Louisiana, on Tuesday. The cat was discovered during a response to a house fire on Allo Avenue. JPAWS noted that individuals who own exotic animals are required to have a permit. They also emphasized that wild cats can exhibit aggressive behavior and are not suitable as pets.
