MOUNT VERNON, Mo. - Susan Berry has been charged with animal neglect following an investigation into animal abuse in Lawrence County. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has also accused her of stealing a Catahoula Leopard dog that went missing earlier this year. On Tuesday, authorities seized over 100 animals from her property. These animals are currently receiving care at the Missouri Humane Society in St. Louis.
