Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Features Dogs Tank and Fats for Adoption

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center highlights two senior dogs, Fats and Tank, who are seeking a loving home. Fats is 9 years old, while Tank is 8. Both are considered gentle giants and are well-suited for family life. Volunteer Doug McQuaid shared insights about their temperaments, noting that they are great with other dogs, have been around cats, and are fond of children.

“They’re just amazing dogs looking for a safe, soft place to retire. They love to go for walks, they love to take treats, they’ll even sit for treats,” McQuaid explained. He emphasized that these dogs would thrive in an active environment where they can have daily walks together.

Additionally, volunteer Robin McQuaid is promoting the adoption center’s 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event, scheduled for Monday, October 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. She encourages those with a trunk or a business interested in participating to visit the events page of the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center for registration details.

“This event is for our pups, and we just hope all of you can stop by and have a good time,” Robin stated.
