A Good Samaritan observed a car stopping and watched as someone placed the kitten in the grass before driving away. Concerned, the witness investigated and contacted New Beginnings Animal Rescue NJ for assistance.
Upon examination, veterinarians discovered that Xena had a broken hind leg with multiple fractures, prompting the placement of a cast. Due to her young age and ongoing growth, she will require continued veterinary care as her injuries heal. Currently, Xena is recovering in foster care.
To support Xena's medical needs and the care of other animals, New Beginnings Animal Rescue has initiated a medical fund. The organization has affectionately dubbed her "Xena - Warrior Princess," noting that despite her challenging circumstances, she is now in a safe environment with individuals dedicated to her recovery.
