Dr. Mark Thompson Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Contributions to Veterinary Medicine

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Thompson has built a distinguished career and has served as the owner and director of Country Hills Pet Hospital in Eden, Wisconsin, since 2000. He oversees a team of 16 employees while providing patient care and managing the hospital's daily operations. His leadership has established the practice as a respected institution in the region.

Dr. Thompson joined Country Hills Pet Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 1993, where he developed strong relationships with clients and their pets. His dedication and skills eventually led him to his current leadership role.

He is actively involved in the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the Northeast Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. Notably, he served as president of the American Animal Hospital Association in 2023 and 2024 and has participated on its national board of directors, further demonstrating his commitment to the profession.

Dr. Thompson's educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Science in animal science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and a Master of Business Administration from Capella University. He also holds certification as a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner.
