Catsbury Park has announced the upcoming Catsbury Park Cat Convention set for October 10-11, 2026, at Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey. The convention will feature a Vendor Village, showcasing local artists, makers, and pet-focused businesses, alongside opportunities to connect with local rescue organizations and learn about cat welfare and adoption. This year promises a combination of returning favorites and new guests, including renowned cat behaviorist and author Jackson Galaxy, who will share insights into feline behavior and the human-cat relationship. Adam "Cat Man" Myatt will also return, bringing his engaging presentations and the popular CAT MAN BINGO, which combines trivia and humor.
New to the convention this year is comedian and content creator Drennon Davis, known for his viral "Business Cats" videos that humorously blend feline antics with comedy. Additionally, Sterling "TrapKing" Davis, the founder of TrapKing Humane Cat Solutions and an advocate for humane solutions for community cats, will return, encouraging inclusive animal welfare initiatives.
These special guests promise a weekend filled with expert advice, engaging discussions, laughter, and memorable experiences for attendees of all ages.
Founded in July 2016 by Jersey Shore native DJ Bornschein, Catsbury Park began as a foster-based rescue. Initially caring for over 25 kittens, DJ aimed to find them homes while increasing community visibility for cat welfare issues. Inspired by his experiences in San Francisco, he opened New Jersey's first cat café to further promote cat adoption and the importance of spaying and neutering. Catsbury Park's mission focuses on ensuring that no cat or kitten goes without a home or access to veterinary care, inviting community involvement through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and donations.
